"TR" stands for Tour & Race, and that is exactly what the 12'6" TR is designed to do. The 12'6" TR is reasonably fast and capable of competing in the popular 12'6" racing class. Yet, unlike many specialized race boards, the 12'6" TR is comfortable, stable and eminently well-mannered. Each of these attributes help to make this board the ideal platform for touring as well. With its fine entry and pronounced V-shape, the nose cuts easily through chop for a smooth, fast ride. Vertical rails and a flat bottom offer clean water release and stability. Epoxy AST construction provides an excellent balance of weight, stiffness and durability. The TR-X boasts very light weight resulting from its carbon construction.
