The third generation of the Cabrinha Contra raises the bar for light wind kiting. Designed to give the absolute best performance in light wind conditions, the Contra is made to deliver the speed and agility of a small kite with the power and pull of a big kite. The Contra's highly-tuned profile produces faster flying speeds, allowing the kite to fly more quickly in the power window and keep a lively feel in the sky. This translates to overall better performance in marginal wind conditions.

The entire canopy of the Contra is flat seamed and taped prior to sewing, a method that is 20% stronger than traditional stitching methods. Cabrinha has reinforced the high load areas of the kite with a more durable material, creating a buffer zone between the rigid strut areas and the canopy. They have also reinforced the leading edge and strut seams with additional layers of material and adhesive cloth.
