The ultimate freeride kite, the new 2008 North Rebel is designed for riding in all conditions, and is equally at home in the hands of surf junkies or flat water fiends. Its smooth, predictable pull and reduced bar pressure will give you the confidence for pushing your riding to new levels. The Rebel's direct feel allows you to instantly pull the trigger for lofty jumps or driving bottom turns, while its ability to completely depower keeps you safe when things get gnarly.
The Rebel has the power to get you up and going in light winds, yet it remains incredibly stable in windier conditions and steers well even when depowered. A redesigned leading edge, along with the addition of relaunch bungies on the back pigtails, prevents line snags and makes the 2008 edition the easiest Rebel to relaunch ever!
The Rebel uses North's 5th Element Bar System with 25 meter lines.
