Over the past few years, the Mistral Explosion has evolved into one of the best all-around, user-friendly medium to light air boards available. They are super easy to sail, making them accessible to ambitious entry-level sailors, and have enough performance to please advanced sailors looking for an easy-turning cruiser.

For 2008 the Explosion features a revised quad panel Vee bottom shape, reducing the wetted surface and resulting in better acceleration and top end speed. This board is outfitted with a quality G10 fin, comfortable footstraps, and new cushy Air Pod footpads. The Explosion is available in sandwich composite or new lightweight Red Dot construction.
