With its fairly large blade (9” blade width), the Werner Spanker is a powerful paddle with a plenty of pull through the stroke. It’s well suited for bigger guys who want to feel the paddle pull through the water. It’s not the best choice for those with shoulder problems (see the Werner Nitro if this is you). Classic Werner bombproof, lightweight construction, oval shaft, and comfortable T-handle all make the Spanker a top of the line paddle.
