Development Focus:

The Freestyle Wave line was always a stand-out for planing power and all-purpose use with a very high speed potential. The new line is a progression of the existing range focusing more on maneuverability and wave use, enabling the rider to make the most of any conditions.

2007 Shape News:

• A narrower board shape allow you to move faster from rail to rail, and makes the board react more quickly to foot steering. Initiating turns or pulling explosive freestyle moves come naturally.
• An additional curve in the outline between the straps, combined with a narrower tail, provides outstanding carving ability and widens the range for wave sailing.
• By eliminating the bevel in the tail JP has reduced the overall volume of the tail area, offering more grip and control in high-speed turns. Snappy moves are easy, and the board turns on a dime!
• A reworked scoop rocker line with additional tail kick gives the 2007 Freestyle Wave a smoother, less-choppy ride. Higher entry improves maneuverability and handling in waves.
• The reworked deck shape offers maximum comfort and direct power distribution. The outboard strap position allows a sporty, performance-oriented stance, while the inboard position is ideal for maneuver-oriented riding. The deck shape gives you a comfortable stance even when in the inboard strap position.
