Development Focus:

Continue to lead the way in maxiumum speed, and improve the ease of sailing, control and maneuverability. To achieve these goals, rather big design changes to the Super-X were necessary.

2007 Shape News:

• New bottom curve reduces the wetted surface area, giving the board a looser water position. It glides effortlessly over chop making it easy to ride on the fin. The Super-X speeds through wind lulls and seems to plane forever.
• Big changes in the outline and tail make it possible to turn on-the-spot or change the turning radius at any time. High-speed carving jibes come naturally.
• The new deck shape lets you position the footstraps further inboard, resulting in better maneuverability in performance settings. The maneuver strap positions are perfect for the freestyle-oriented rider.
• Previously only seen in slalom fins, the new Super-X fins have a completely different profile, dedicated to maintaining high-speed control. The profiles are adjusted to the needs of Super-X, where sufficient lift for early planing is needed. The new fins generate less drag making it easier to go fast and maintain control.
