The new 2007 shapes feature the "Spiraling Vee" concept: there is more vee in the front than in the tail. As you carve, the forward vee engages and directs the board into the turn - just like the front steering wheels of a car. The tail vee kick behind your back foot is like turning the rear wheels of a car, allowing you to adapt your arc with great accuracy and feel, using toe-heel pressure and front foot-back foot pressure.
